It has been determined by USA Hockey that we are not able to offer CEUs for participants that attend upcoming PCA Workshops. We apologize that this option is no longer available to WAHA coaches, please note there are a number of in-house CEU options offered by USA Hockey for coaches that need to renew their Level 4/Level 5 Coaching Education in 2025. WAHA and Positive Coaching Alliance Partnership
WAHA is proud to partner with the Positive Coaching Alliance to help shape and improve culture in the great game of hockey. PCA's mission is to change the culture in youth sports so that every child, regardless of social or economic circumstance, has access to a positive youth sports experience. Through this partnership, PCA workshops, training education and resources are available to local associations at no cost. Look for information from your Association President and leaders for ways PCA can positively impact you and your athletes. Beginning in November and continuing each month, WAHA and PCA are offering FREE coach workshops for WAHA coaches. See the flyer below for full details and registration information.

Calling all CEL's! Join us for one of our Culture Shaping for Leaders workshops and learn more about the role of the CEL and ways that you can support and educate your association membership and improve your culture!
PCA’s Culture Shaping for Leaders is a highly interactive zoom session that helps organizational and athletic department leadership evaluate and identify ways to make their program(s) more positive, equitable, and accessible to all athletes. This session introduces PCA’s tool for organizational culture shaping and evaluation: The Positive Youth Sports Culture Index (PYSC Index). In this session, participants will:
• Discuss the importance of culture-shaping
• Learn about actionable tools for culture shaping
• Receive an orientation to PCA’s PYSC Index
• Practice using the PYSC Index
• Develop an action plan to complete the PYSC Index
