Boys Player Development Tryouts/Festivals/Camps
“The Road to USA Hockey Player Development”

To be selected to a WAHA High Performance State Tryout, Central District Festival or Central District Camp is not only a great honor but a great opportunity for players to receive USA Hockey exposure and be identified every step of the way, whether or not the journey results in a roster spot at a USA Hockey National Select Camp.

WHO ARE ELIGIBLE FOR HIGH PERFORMANCE TRYOUTS, FESTIVALS AND CAMPS?
Players born in 2011, 2010, 2009 and 2008 that are USA citizens and have biological parent(s) or legal guardian(s) who are year around full time residents in the State of Wisconsin.

High Performance 16 & 17 State Festival - April 18-19 - Birth Years 2009 & 2008 - Click HERE

Players must go through the entire tryout process in Wisconsin to be eligible for the Central District HP 14 Camp, the Central District HP 15, 16 & 17 Festival and the USA Hockey National Select 15, 16, and 17 Camps.

Central District High Performance 14 Camp for birth year 2011
Players born in 2011 are selected directly from the WAHA HP 14 Tryout to represent Wisconsin at the Central District HP 14 Camp on June 15-20 at Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa. No further steps.

Central District High Performance 15 Festival for birth year 2010
Players born in 2010 will be selected directly from the WAHA HP 15 Tryout to the represent Wisconsin at the Central District HP 15 Festival on May 16-18 at the Cornerstone Community Center in the Green Bay Area.

Central District High Performance 16 & 17 Festival for birth years 2009 and 2008
Players born in 2009 and 2008 are selected from the WAHA HP 16 and HP 17 Tryouts to represent Wisconsin at the Central District HP 16 and HP 17 Festival on May 16-18 at the Cornerstone Community Center in the Green Bay Area.

USA Hockey Boys National Select 15, 16 & 17 Player Development Camp Process
Players born in 2010, 2009 and 2008 are selected from the Central District HP 15, 16, 17 Festival on May 16-18 to represent the Central District and their home state at the USA Hockey National Player Development Select 15, 16 & 17 Camps.

2025 USA Hockey Boys National Festival and Camps:
Boys National 17 (2008) Camp: "Hlinka Gretzky Cup" July 7-13
Boys National 16 (2009) Camp: June 25-July 1
Boys National 15 (2010) Goalie Camp:  July 13-16 
Boys National 15 (2010) Camp: July 16-21

All Camps will be held at Northtown Center & Daemen University, Amherst, NY
